Patrick Kasparian

Doctor of Law and Attorney at Law, he was called to the Beirut Bar in 2005 and to the Paris Bar in 2013. He is also a lecturer in law at the University of Reims. He is trilingual (French, English, Arabic).

Patrick Kasparian holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (with honors, summa cum laude). His thesis, supervised by Professor Hervé Synvet, focused on “Joint Control” and was published by Joly, Pratique des affaires collection.

The main focus of his practice is Company Law and Commercial Law. Patrick has gained expertise in litigations related to shareholders' & governance's conflicts, management liability, post-acquisition issues and commercial contracts. Moreover, he provides legal advice on M&A operations, Joint Ventures and Non-profit Organizations' structural needs.

He has written numerous contributions to renowned books and journals on blockchain, smart contracts, corporate control, corporate strategy, corporate leaders and shareholder rights.

He teaches lectures in Corporate Law and Contract Law, as well as seminars on Blockchain. From 2016 to 2020, he served as Deputy Director of CEJESCO (Private Law Research Center of the University of Reims).

Patrick Kasparian is a member of the AFDD (French Association of Doctors of Law), the AFAJA (French Association of Armenian Lawyers and Jurists) and the AJFE (Association of Former Jamhour Students in France and Europe).
